"I am an associate chartered legal executive having qualified in 2013. I have over 17 years’ experience in the legal profession with more than 14 years’ experience in representing clients’ who have suffered major trauma following an accident.”

I handle a wide range of personal injury claims including road traffic accidents, accidents at work, accidents in public places and criminal injuries compensation claims.

I have considerable experience in dealing with complex injuries.  I strive to obtain the best possible outcome for my clients.  My aim is to secure a settlement to provide long term financial security in addition to ensuring they have access to the right rehab programme to help them make the best possible recovery they can achieve.

My professional memberships and accreditations include:

  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives
  • Member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers

I also enjoy providing support to local community projects, as well as being involved with fundraising events for Higgs’ chosen charities which include Headway, the SIA and CBIT.

  • My client, a pedestrian was run over by the third-party driver, knocking her to the floor. The third-party driver then proceeded to reverse back over my client before fleeing the scene. Once the third-party driver was finally traced, she refused to accept she was to blame for the accident. Our client sustained serious leg injuries as well as psychological trauma. I managed to secure an interim payment for her whilst the case was ongoing and was also able to secure a substantial final settlement to ensure that not only was compensated for her pain, suffering and losses incurred, but that she also received what she needed to ensure her future needs were met.
  • My client sustained a substantial settlement after fracturing his elbow whilst at work thus causing the onset of arthritis. He underwent several operations resulting in an elbow replacement. My client’s concern was that of his future care needs and deterioration. I was able to secure a significant settlement to ensure his future care needs were met as well as any future treatment and surgery costs in the event of deterioration.
  • My client sustained scarring because of cosmetic surgery. The responsible party refused to accept any responsibility for the injuries sustained. We therefore had to obtain sufficient evidence The responsible party continued to dispute the matter and Court proceedings had to be issued. The third party finally accepted fault and our client was able to claim compensation for the pain suffering and loss of amenity she had suffered.
  • Our client had attended a fire work display, whereby a fire work hit her in the face. Our client sustained an eye and face injury. The responsible party refused to accept any responsibility for the accident. However, we were able to establish that the responsible party had been negligent, and our client was awarded compensated for her pain, suffering and loss of amenity she had suffered

"Thank you for all of the support you have provided to my mum. The whole thing has been extremely infuriating and distressing for her. Preparing witness statements and attending court to give evidence is a stressful experience. Some of that stress was alleviated by the caring and capable way you dealt with her claim and for that we are all extremely grateful.”
