Article date: 31/07/2013
A leading family lawyer is making a welcome return to leading law firm Higgs & Sons.
Rhian Gray trained with the Black Country firm but left to join SGH Martineau LLP last year. Her return comes as the Higgs family team enjoys its busiest ever year.
Speaking of her move back to Higgs, Rhian said: "I gained some great experience working at SGH Martineau LLP but I am thrilled to be coming back to Higgs and the family team. I am really looking forward to once more being part of this firm, its ambitious future and providing exceptional service to our clients."
The Higgs' family team supports people both in the local region and beyond. The team is currently on course to expand further as it puts in place an ambitious strategy for growth, centred around the needs of its clients.
Head of the department, Philip Barnsley said: "We're delighted to have Rhian back with us. She has proven expertise and will provide our clients with excellent legal advice as well as the care and support that they require.
"As a department, we strive hard to find constructive ways of helping families, but also protecting people's rights as and when required."
Alongside her work at Higgs, Rhian is chair of Young Resolution in the West Midlands and sits on the main Resolution Committee. Outside of this, she is a member of the City of Birmingham Choir.
Higgs & Sons works from two offices in the Black Country, Waterfront Business Park in Brierley Hill and Kingswinford. The firm employs over 200 people, including 100 lawyers. It runs one of the most sought-after lawyer training programmes in the region.
