New commercial property lawyer for Higgs & Sons

Higgs & Sons is expanding its commercial property team with the appointment of a new lawyer.
Richard Honick (36) joins the Brierley Hill legal firm as an associate, having spent the majority of his career with Wragge & Co and in-house at Birmingham City Council.
Speaking of his move to Higgs, Richard said: "Higgs is one of the most respected law firms in the region and I'm delighted to be joining at such an exciting time in its development.
"The nine-strong commercial property team handles work across the region and beyond and I'm looking forward to adding my skills to the team."
Richard specialises in asset management and landlord and tenant work, secured lending, development and investment work. He has acted for institutional banks, private landlords, Crown bodies, pension funds and blue chip occupiers.
Richard will report to head of commercial property, Peter Coleman. Peter said: "Richard brings a wealth of both legal firm and in-house experience with him, which will be of great value to us as we continue to expand our team."
