Paul has been a property litigator for over 12 years and joined Higgs & Sons as a Partner in June 2015. Prior to this, he worked at two leading national law firms where he acted for major developers, housebuilders, corporates, funds public and private sector landlords and a number of well known high street retailers.
Specialising in commercial property dispute resolution, Paul is experienced in advising on development issues, all aspects of property management, dealing with lease renewals, break notices (conditional and unconditional), easements, rent reviews, restrictive covenants, rights of light, dilapidations and service charge disputes. He has advised in a number of leading cases, including several high profile anti-trespass and protestor matters. He has particular experience and specialism in retail property matters.
Paul is a committee member of the Property Litigation Association Law Reform Committee and regularly contributes to the national property press.
